New Alternatives Fund is the first environmental mutual fund as well as the first mutual fund with a significant concentration in alternative energy. The fund seeks to be affirmatively socially responsible. The New Alternatives Fund selects companies that produce something that benefits our environment, such as alternative energy, recycling, clean air and water, pollution prevention and conservation.
